Erez Kaganovitz is the curator of Humans of Tel Aviv. His passion is photography and telling stories. He studied Journalism and International Relations at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Upon completion of his studies, he worked as a journalist and parliamentary advisor in Israel. He discovered his passion for photography in India on the banks of the Ganges River where he learned how to use photography to tell stories.

After moving to Tel Aviv, he started taking pictures and sharing the stories of the people of Tel Aviv. Shortly after coming across the Humans of New York page in 2012, he launched his own project, Humans of Tel Aviv.

Since then, he has launched other projects, most recently and notably, the Humans of October 7th exhibit in which he shares the stories of those impacted on that day.
